Good Morning! Many lenders have a rule on the minimum amount of time a seller must hold title to a property before he can sell it to a buyer getting a new loan.
This is called “title seasoning”.
Some lenders require a minimum of 12 months of title seasoning before a seller can sell their home on a new loan. …and, some have a minimum of 90 days seasoning required.
I can tell you that I have NO minimum required amount of title seasoning before a home can be sold!
…so, if you are in this situation either from the buyer or the seller side – you know where to come for your loan!
